Luella Musselman Paul was the daughter of Emma and Christian Musselman who founded the C. H. Musselman & Company Fruit Canning Company.
A graduate of Biglerville High School in 1928, she went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Juniata College where she played on the women’s basketball team. Following her father’s death, Luella became a Vice President and Secretary of the Musselman Company.
Luella loved Biglerville and contributed in many ways to the well-being of the town where she was born and raised. This scholarship is for a Biglerville High School student pursuing post-secondary education. The award is made based on a student’s demonstrated financial need, high academic performance and community involvement.
