Grants & Scholarships

Adams County Community Foundation offers a variety of funds to meet community needs.

Adams County Grants are distributed once a year through a competitive grant process. Nonprofits serving Adams County Pennsylvania residents may apply using the downloadable application packet.

There are also donor advised funds and designated funds created by donors for specific purposes or organizations. The Community Foundation will contact the appropriate nonprofits as these grant awards become available.

Community Scholarships are available for Adams County residents seeking post-secondary education. Please see the detailed eligibility criteria on the linked page.

The Dollars for Scholars Fund is open to Adams County youth in Bermudian Springs, Biglerville, Fairfield Area, Littlestown and New Oxford High Schools. There are also scholarships for students at Gettysburg High School, Delone, private schools, and home school students affiliated with schools in Adams County. Adams County Dollars for Scholars manages the Adams Electric Cooperative Inc. scholarships at Big Spring, Chambersburg Area, York County Northern and Shippensburg Area High Schools.
