Matt Thomas Joins Adams County Community Foundation as Grants & Donor Services Officer

(Gettysburg, PA: 08/01/2025) The Adams County Community Foundation has announced that Matt Thomas has joined its staff as Grants & Donor Services Officer. Matt will oversee the Community Foundation’s competitive grants programs and foster relationships with donors by connecting them with impactful charitable giving opportunities including Adams County Grants and Adams County’s day of giving, the Giving Spree.

“The people we work with really care about making a difference in Adams County, and we’re here to help them do that,” says Community Foundation President and CEO Ralph Serpe. “Matt brings a fresh outlook and the drive of a new generation that’s ready to step up and make things happen. A lifelong resident of Adams County, Matt brings extensive local knowledge and a deep commitment to community engagement. He’s a 2002 graduate of Gettysburg Area High School and a 2025 graduate of Leadership Hanover. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Matt served most recently as Director of Partnerships and Community Outreach at Delone Catholic.

“I am passionate about helping people connect with and support our community in Adams County,” said Matt. “This role at the Community Foundation gives me a new and exciting perspective on that mission, allowing me to facilitate meaningful community giving.”
