The Adams County Community Foundation’s Giving Spree is set for November 5, and this year, Adams County’s Day of Giving is going virtual offering donors more ways to support their favorite Adams County nonprofits. Donors have the option to:
Give Now: Support Adams County nonprofits with an immediate gift.
Give Forever: Contribute to endowment and support the nonprofits year after year. Forever gifts will be invested by the Community Foundation and each year 4.5% of the gift will be sent to the nonprofit the donor names.
Give Broadly: Support all of the nonprofits participating in this year’s Giving Spree with either a sponsorship gift or a gift to the stretch pool. Participating nonprofits receive a percentage of the stretch pool based on the amount they raise on the day of the Giving Spree, November 5.
This year online giving is available between 12:01 am to 12 midnight on November 5 at ACCFGivingSpree.org, or donors can mail their gift and a completed donor form to the Community Foundation by November 1.
Finally, in the true spirit of this time, curbside giving, between 1:00 and 5:00 pm on November 5, is available at the Gettysburg Area High School. There’s no need for donors to leave their car: Volunteers will be on hand to accept contributions, thank you personally and cheer you on.
Donor forms are available in upcoming editions of the Gettysburg Times, through the Community Foundation or participating nonprofits.
