Request for Proposals

The Adams County Community Foundation announces a competitive request for proposals, for up to $5,000, to support unmet community need in Littlestown, PA beginning February 7 and closing March 20. Grants are approved and awarded in June.

Objective

Created in 2018 through the generosity and in memory of Bernard, Mary and Dick Selby to support “unmet community needs” through an annual grants program, The Fund for Littlestown supports the community of Littlestown, PA.

Eligibility

The Adams County Community Foundation’s Fund for Littlestown Grant Advisory Committee will award grants based on the following criteria:

  • The applicant organization must be a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
  • The grant must serve the unmet community needs of Littlestown residents.
  • The applicant organization must have, or explain why it is exempt from having, a current certificate from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations. (BCO) 1-800-732-0999.
  • The applicant’s nondiscrimination policies are consistent with the Adams County Community Foundation Nondiscrimination Policy on Employment and Grantmaking.

How to Apply

Submit:

  • Your Grant Proposal Summary signed by the executive director and board chair.
  • Your narrative, which includes what you will do with the grant award to help meet the unmet needs of Littlestown residents and what you hope to accomplish. (Maximum two pages, 12 point type, one sided with normal margins)
  • A copy of your organization’s IRS determination letter.
  • A copy of your organization’s BCO certificate.
